Seahoam Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

Seahoam LLC (“Seahoam,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of people who visit seahoam.com (the “Website”), inquire about Seahoam services, and become Seahoam customers.

This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we collect, how we use and disclose that information, and the choices available to you.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information Seahoam collects through:

  • The Website
  • The Get Started form
  • Email or other communications with Seahoam
  • Customer onboarding
  • Seahoam service delivery
  • Property reports and service records
  • Other interactions directly related to Seahoam services

This Privacy Policy does not replace or modify the terms of a Customer Service Agreement.

Third-party websites and services linked from our Website have their own privacy practices.

2. Information You Provide

Depending on how you interact with Seahoam, you may provide information such as:

Inquiry information

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Property address or location
  • Property town
  • Property type
  • Primary residence city and state
  • Whether the property is used as a rental
  • Services of interest
  • Plan interest
  • Desired start timing
  • Preferred contact method
  • How you learned about Seahoam
  • Information included in your inquiry

Customer and property information

If you become a customer, Seahoam may collect additional information reasonably necessary to provide the services you authorize, including:

  • Property-specific instructions
  • Property Baseline information
  • Property photographs
  • Known property conditions
  • Emergency contacts
  • Occupancy and expected absence information
  • Communication and escalation preferences
  • Existing vendor information
  • Service history
  • Visit reports
  • Customer-authorized access information
  • Other information reasonably necessary to perform purchased services

3. Access Credentials and Sensitive Property Information

Some information used during an active Seahoam customer relationship may be particularly sensitive. This may include:

  • Keys or key-identification information
  • Door or gate instructions
  • Access codes
  • Alarm procedures
  • Property-security instructions

Seahoam collects this information only when reasonably necessary to provide an authorized service and limits its use to legitimate operational purposes.

Do not submit alarm codes, door codes, passwords, Social Security numbers, bank-account information, payment-card numbers, or other highly sensitive information through the public Get Started form or an ordinary service inquiry unless Seahoam specifically instructs you to use an approved method.

4. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Website, Seahoam's hosting, infrastructure, or security providers may process standard technical information necessary to deliver, operate, troubleshoot, and protect the Website. Depending on the technology involved, this may include:

  • IP address
  • Browser or device type
  • Operating-system information
  • Date and time of requests
  • Pages or resources requested
  • Referring information
  • Server logs
  • Security and diagnostic information

Seahoam does not use this information at launch to sell personal information or engage in cross-context behavioral advertising.

If material analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies are added later, this Policy will be updated as required.

5. How We Use Information

Seahoam may use information to:

  • Respond to inquiries
  • Determine whether Seahoam may be a good fit for a property
  • Communicate about requested services
  • Conduct customer onboarding
  • Establish a Property Baseline
  • Develop an Annual Watch Schedule
  • Perform authorized Home Watch and property-care services
  • Provide visit reports and documentation
  • Provide customer-authorized Property or Vendor Access
  • Coordinate with approved vendors when authorized
  • Schedule services
  • Maintain service and customer records
  • Respond to questions or concerns
  • Manage billing or authorized transactions
  • Maintain and secure Website systems
  • Prevent fraud or misuse
  • Comply with legal, insurance, accounting, security, or recordkeeping requirements
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal rights
  • Improve Seahoam's operations and customer experience

Seahoam does not intend to collect personal information unrelated to a legitimate Seahoam purpose.

6. Lead Processing and Internal Notifications

When you submit the Get Started form, the information you provide is stored in Seahoam's Website and lead-management infrastructure.

Seahoam currently uses third-party technology providers including:

  • Lovable / Lovable Cloud for Website and lead-management infrastructure
  • Google / Gmail for internal email notifications and communications
  • Slack for internal lead notifications and collaboration

Information from a submission may therefore be processed by these providers as necessary to provide their services to Seahoam.

These disclosures do not constitute a sale of personal information by Seahoam.

7. Service Providers

Seahoam may disclose information to service providers that perform legitimate functions on Seahoam's behalf, such as:

  • Website hosting
  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Email
  • Internal communications
  • Customer and lead management
  • Security
  • Information technology
  • Payment processing if later implemented
  • Accounting
  • Legal services
  • Insurance-related services
  • Other legitimate operational support

Seahoam provides service providers only information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

8. Customer-Authorized Vendors

If a customer asks Seahoam to provide Property Access, Vendor Access, or vendor coordination, Seahoam may disclose information reasonably necessary to carry out that authorization. This may include:

  • Property location
  • Scheduling information
  • Limited relevant access instructions
  • Information relevant to the customer-authorized request

Seahoam does not provide unrelated customer information merely because a vendor has worked at the property.

9. Property Reports and Photographs

Seahoam may create photographs, reports, checklists, notes, and other property documentation as part of customer services. This information may be used for:

  • Providing the service
  • Communicating with the customer
  • Comparing observable conditions over time
  • Maintaining service records
  • Internal quality control
  • Resolving customer questions or disputes
  • Other legitimate operational purposes

Seahoam will not use identifiable photographs of a customer's property for public advertising, social media, testimonials, case studies, or promotional materials without separate customer authorization.

10. Legal and Safety Disclosures

Seahoam may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law or legal process
  • Respond to a security incident
  • Protect rights, safety, property, or security
  • Investigate suspected fraud or unlawful conduct
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
  • Work with insurers, attorneys, accountants, or professional advisers

If Seahoam encounters an apparent emergency at a customer's property, information may be shared with appropriate emergency services, utilities, emergency contacts, or other parties when reasonably necessary.

11. Business Transfers

If Seahoam is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, relevant information may be disclosed or transferred as part of evaluating or completing that transaction.

Any successor remains subject to applicable privacy and contractual obligations.

12. We Do Not Sell Personal Information

Seahoam does not sell personal information in exchange for money. At launch, Seahoam also does not use customer or inquiry information for cross-context behavioral advertising or sell it to data brokers.

If those practices materially change, Seahoam will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required notices or choices.

13. Data Minimization

Seahoam's policy is to collect and retain only information reasonably related to:

  • A customer inquiry
  • A requested or purchased service
  • Property access and service delivery
  • Customer communication
  • Legitimate administrative, security, accounting, insurance, or legal purposes

Prospects and customers should not provide sensitive information Seahoam does not need.

Access to customer information is limited to people and providers with a legitimate operational need.

14. Retention

Seahoam retains personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or another legitimate business or legal purpose. Relevant factors may include:

  • Whether the person is an inquiry or active customer
  • Type of information
  • Services provided
  • Customer-service needs
  • Accounting and tax requirements
  • Insurance requirements
  • Legal obligations
  • Potential disputes
  • Fraud-prevention and security needs

Information no longer reasonably necessary is deleted, securely disposed of, anonymized, or otherwise handled according to Seahoam's records procedures and applicable law.

Property-access credentials are not retained longer than reasonably necessary for an active authorized service relationship, subject to legitimate security, recordkeeping, backup, or legal requirements.

15. Information Security

Seahoam uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information maintained. These may include controls intended to:

  • Restrict access to people who legitimately need the information
  • Protect accounts and systems
  • Securely manage customer and property information
  • Reduce unnecessary collection and retention
  • Maintain appropriate records and backups
  • Respond to known security concerns

No website, electronic communication, database, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Seahoam therefore does not promise absolute security.

If Seahoam becomes aware of a security incident involving personal information, it will investigate and provide notifications when required by applicable law.

16. Privacy Requests

You may contact Seahoam regarding personal information you have provided.

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may request that Seahoam:

  • Confirm whether it maintains information about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Update contact information
  • Delete information that is no longer needed
  • Address another privacy concern

Seahoam may need to verify identity or authority before acting, particularly when a request involves property information or access credentials.

Some information may need to be retained when reasonably necessary or legally permitted for:

  • Completing an authorized transaction or service
  • Required business records
  • Accounting or tax compliance
  • Insurance
  • Security
  • Fraud prevention
  • Legal claims or disputes
  • Compliance with applicable law

17. Communications

If you inquire about Seahoam, Seahoam may use the information provided to respond and communicate concerning services in which you expressed interest.

Active customers may receive communications related to:

  • Scheduling
  • Visits
  • Reports
  • Property conditions
  • Customer-authorized vendors
  • Billing
  • Account administration
  • Safety and access
  • Other purchased services

If optional marketing communications are introduced later, Seahoam will provide any opt-out mechanism required by applicable law.

18. Children

The Website and Seahoam's services are intended for adults seeking property-care services. They are not directed to children under 13.

Seahoam does not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13.

19. Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services.

Seahoam does not control those parties' privacy practices.

Visitors should review third-party privacy notices before providing information directly to those services.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Seahoam may update this Privacy Policy as its services, technology, information practices, or legal requirements change.

When updated, Seahoam will post the revised version and change the Effective Date.

If a change is material and applicable law requires additional notice or consent, Seahoam will provide it as required.

An updated Website Privacy Policy does not automatically modify an existing Customer Service Agreement where separate agreement is required. Website use is also governed by our Terms of Use.
